Why CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is more than just veg, it’s a relationship.
When you join a CSA like Wild Cow Garden, you’re stepping into a partnership between grower and eater. You get to know exactly where your food comes from, how it’s grown, and who grows it. It’s transparent, personal, and rooted in trust. Your support provides stability for small-scale farming and helps us plan, grow, and invest in the soil and community. In return, you receive the freshest possible produce, picked, packed, and delivered with care.
CSA also helps build a more resilient and fair food system. It keeps food miles low, retains every pound within the farm, and reconnects people with the rhythms of nature. As a member, you share in both the abundance and unpredictability of the seasons, making the rewards all the more meaningful. It's a powerful way to nourish not only your body, but also your connection to land, community, and the people growing your food.
Common questions
How do I receive my veg bag each week?
We deliver directly to your door every week during the growing season if you live within a 5-mile radius of Wicton Farm (HR7 4LR). You'll receive a veg bag filled with that week’s fresh harvest.
What kind of vegetables will I get?
You’ll enjoy a wide variety of seasonal, certified organic vegetables and herbs over 50 types throughout the season. While it varies by week, expect things like leafy greens, roots, salad mixes, herbs, courgettes, tomatoes, squash and more. We don’t grow potatoes, but we do grow lots of nutrient-dense, flavourful veg.
Can I pause or skip a week?
We plan our harvests based on member numbers, so we’re unable to pause deliveries. However, if you’re away for a week, you’re welcome to gift your share to a friend, neighbour, or family member.
Do you grow everything yourselves?
Yes! Everything in your veg bag is grown right here at Wild Cow Garden using organic, no-dig methods. We don’t buy in any produce, just what we grow from our soil to your plate.
