Educational Visits

Fully funded educational farm visits - making positive change happen

We are a dedicated team that have a passion for nurturing the unique strengths of every individual, both humans and animals. We care deeply about the world we live in and want to create a safe space for young people -allowing them to explore who they are, be creative and learn skills that will stay with them for life.
Educational activities that your students may be involved in:

- Food production: – Learn all about where your food comes from. Get a unique insight into how milk is produced, learn about dairy products, meet the cows, go into the milking parlour and learn about dairy farming. Make cream and butter, grind grain and get hands on in our vegetable garden

- Wildlife walks – Spend time in nature. Educational walks focusing on the natural world around us. Bug and insect Identification, plant identification and sensory activities in woodland areas.

- Woodland creation – depending on the time of year your students may be involved in our many tree planting activities. Students can get hands on experience collecting seeds, managing seedlings and planting out trees.

- Animal Care – Meet our beautiful dairy cows and learn how we look after them. Students can spend time with our retired therapy cow.

Each visit is tailored to the needs of the students, their learning objectives and the school’s curriculum. We focus on involving every individual, encouraging active participation, nurturing curiosity and creating an environment for physical and sensory exploration and learning.
